Each of our courses were developed by the founder of The Somatic Collective, Dr. Misty Gibson. Dr. Misty is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist-Supervisor and educator with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. With years of clinical experience supporting diverse clients in navigating sexuality, relationships, and healing, Dr. Misty brings deep expertise and a commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive practice to every course developed.

Beyond course creation, Dr. Misty is the owner of FlowArt Therapy, an inclusive group practice centering polyamorous, queer, and nontraditional relationship structures. She is also the podcast host of Untamed Ember and the author of multiple self-published books focused on sexuality, body liberation, and trauma-informed living.
